About

FactStamp is a small, machine-facing verification service: an agent asks whether a company, a figure or a citation is what it claims to be, pays a few cents, and gets back a cited, dated answer with a receipt that can be checked offline by somebody who was not here.

What it is for

Agents are increasingly asked to name a company in a contract, quote a number in a deck, or repeat a citation in a document. Those are the moments where a confident wrong answer is expensive. The service exists for that moment, and for the standing version of it: a list of references or a single claim that has to stay true for a month, re-checked daily, reported only when something changes.

Who runs it

FactStamp is operated by Alpine AI, a small Australian business in Victoria. Support, takedown requests and questions about a bill go to info@alpineai.com.au, and we answer them.

How it is paid for

Per call, in USDC on Base over the x402 protocol, or by card for a prepaid pack of calls. There is no subscription, no account and no invoice: the prices and the rules are on /pricing.md.
